CUSTOMER CARE AND EXCHANGES

ORDERS

Please note that just about all of our products are made to order. Every item has a different lead time depending on the intricacy of the piece. However, currently most of our items can be made and shipped out in 5 business days if not sooner. Not including shipping time. If you’re ordering items as gifts please reach out so we can help!

SHIPPING

Teddy Taylor currently offers FREE SHIPPING on all orders of $50.00 or more that are shipping within the United States. We currently ship domestic orders with the USPS First Class Mail (standard shipping).

Please make sure you have your packages shipped to a safe and secure address. Teddy Taylor is not responsible for lost packages once it has been deemed delivered by the carrier. However reach out to us if you are experiencing delays or a damaged package and we will do our best to solve issues with the carrier on your behalf through our customer service desk.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Currently due to the cost of shipping we cannot offer free shipping to our international customers at this time. All international orders are shipped USPS and we are not responsible for all taxes and duties imposed by their country of residence. Teddy Taylor is not responsible for any packages held by international customs agencies. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine these charges if that is a concern. We cannot find that out for you.

Should there ever be a delay in any order being shipped out we will let you know via email.

PAYMENT

Teddy Taylor accepts all major credit cards. Payment is processed at the time your order is placed, regardless of the lead time on your piece. Please note we only accept one form of payment. Payment cannot be split between multiple credit cards.

REPAIRS AND RESIZING

Jewelry by nature is delicate. We are proud to offer a repair shop right in our studio. Please go to our repairs page to learn more.

Resizing a bracelet is no problem. We offer chain extenders that can be added to our clasp bracelet pieces for easy adjusting. Our bracelets all measure the standard size of 6.5” around. If you have a petit wrist and your bracelet is to large at the standard size please let us know and we can help you.

Shipping a piece back to our studio for resizing or repair after 30 days is at the expense of the customer.

 

SALES TAX

Sales Tax is collected on orders shipped to addresses in states which require our business to collect and remit.  

 

Online Return Policy

This does not apply to items that are final sale, custom made items or international orders.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back to us for a refund within ten days of receiving your package. Receipt must be included and it must still contain all original packaging and be unworn and undamged. We inspect incoming returns before we issue a refund. If we think our return policy is being abused by a repeat shopper we will cancel your future orders and refund you. All our jewelry is made by hand and is a labor of love. We do not appreciate an abusive shopper. Please realize we are a small company and we have the ability to monitor this behavior. Repeat returning is bad for our company and bad for the environment. Please consider this before you purchase. 

Custom orders and sale items are final sale. Please email teddytaylorjewelry@gmail.com if you need more information. 

We do not typically do exchanges. Unless there is a problem with your jewelry please return and then repurchase the item you wanted to exchange for. 

There are a few exchange exceptions:   

  • JEWELRY BREAKS: If your handmade Teddy Taylor jewelry breaks within 30 days of purchase please email us! We are confident in the quality of our jewelry and it should not fall apart on you. However please be aware most of our jewelry is made with all natural fiber that will wear down after very extensive use. This is why we offer our restringing service for your heirloom pieces. Our jewelry is not meant to withstand harsh abuse that is why we always ship your jewelry orders with a care instructions card. Teddy Taylor will not take responsibility for mishandled jewelry that results in damage. But we love to hear from you! Send us an email either way so we can guide you with repair/restringing options or replace the item. If we need to replace a bracelet there is no need to send the damaged one back, we will happily send a new piece if it breaks in the 30 day period.
  • ITEM DAMAGED ON ARRIVAL / WRONG ORDER: We are such a small studio that pays close attention to the detail of every piece we make that it would be extremely RARE for your beautiful jewelry to arrive damaged or be given the wrong order. However if this happens please email us at once so we can make it right! Human errors do sometimes occur and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

Teddy Taylor reserves the right to determine if our merchandise arrived damaged or if its showing signs of wear / damage due to mishandling and it will not be accepted for exchange if this is the case.
